    Business Development Executive

    Job Description

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Ensure proper management of marketing costs within the set budget.
    • Ensure an acceptable level of profitability on all business development activities.
    • Conducting extensive research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
    • Creating and being part of marketing campaigns on social media.
    • Participating in exhibitions and conferences organized by the company.
    • Creating awareness of the products and services offered by the company.
    • Ensuring the company meets the sales targets.
    • Be involved in 3PL business development
    • Proactively manage relationship with new customers.
    • Maintain up-to date and accurate profiles of customers i.e., contact persons, key business, opportunities, suppliers, polices etc. in relation the client
    • Works on customer initiatives and implements solutions as per customer requirements
    • Pursue opportunities for portfolio customer growth and new business with allocated accounts.
    • Customer retention: Develop a customer engagement cycle through a structured sales process to ensure customer development and retention
    • Use CRM (Customer Relationship Management), to update customer activities.
    • Maintaining a healthy relationship with the clients.
    • Writing monthly reports on the performance of the campaigns.
    • Conducting extensive research on competitors' products and services. (benchmark services offered)
    • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
    • Participate in trade shows, fairs, and promotions.
    • Arrange customer workshops to ensure brand is reinforced with customers.
    • Maintains up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets.
    • Actively participate in customer satisfaction surveys

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's  degree in Sales & Marketing, Commerce, or relevant degree. Masters is an added advantage.
    • 4 years progressive experience in a busy Sales & Marketing environment (preferably in the logistics sector).
    • Experience in 3PL an added advantage.

    Internal Audit Assistant

    Job Description

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Provide significant assistance and support to the internal audit department in reviewing the company’s internal controls and procedures.
    • Check and inspect the accuracy of accounts payable & ensure the balances are reconciled to the supplier’s statements. Ensure month-end balance agrees to the balance sheRegular bank reconciliations, cash counts, petty cash vouchers vouching and process review.
    • Regular statutory payments review.
    • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and yearly stock takes and prepare the stock report for review.
    • Regular DCs and Warehouse stocks cycle counts.
    • Monthly routine check audits with a closure every 15th of the month.
    • Routine fixed assets verification.
    • Prepare audit paperwork in accordance with standards and requirements for review based on the audit plan.
    • Regular process reviews across all departments depending on agreed plan with the immediate supervisor.
    • Be prepared to execute and plan for any additional assignment as instructed by GIA, immediate supervisor, GM, or the MD.
    • Surprise stock checks- Timings and selection of audit areas
    • Review of debtors- Recommendation for adequacy of provisions
    • Petty cash reviews - Timings for surprise counts
    • Surprise weight checks- Timing and selection of audit areas

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in business related field and atleast 3-year experience in internal audit, risk management in large manufacturing environment
    • CPA III Sec 5 or equivalent
    • CISA
    • Willingness to work and live in Mombasa

    Logistics Operations Executive

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Coordinating information between client and the company's clearance department.
    • Quoting rates to clients. Follow ups on quoted orders.
    • Sourcing rates from overseas suppliers.
    • Ensuring timely clearance of cargo, by staying up to date with each stage of the shipment clearance process.
    • Tracking and updating clients on arrival of cargo.
    • Keeping and updating the record of ongoing and upcoming shipments.
    • Following up with the transport department regarding delivery date/time.
    • Mid-level crisis management e.g. Delays in delivery, Unforeseen charges and penalties incurred due to incomplete/insufficient documentation of shipment, Discrepancies in quoted rates to clients due to weight change / commodity difference / penalties and delays at POL or GRI occurrence at POL.
    • Mid-level client management e.g. 1-to-1 interactions with applicable clients, Creating and maintaining a healthy working relationship with existing and new clients, Ensuring accountability and credibility with clients.
    • Reconciling past shipment particulars with reference to the shipment report, at the time of monthly/quarterly/annual account reconciliation/fact finding process.

    Minimum Requirements:

    •  Bachelor's degree, additional degrees / certificates / diplomas would be a big plus point.
    • 2 years work experience,in the shipping/ Freight industry with a good understanding of customs clearance procedures at JKIA / Mombasa port.
    • A basic understanding of pricing / quoting and negotiations.

    Job Description

    Our client a large scale manufacturing company is seeking to fill the role of an RPA Engineeer. The incurmbent will be responsible for designing automation based on the operational requirements of a company using MS Power Automate to resolve issues related to automation.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Designing automation based on the operational requirements of a company.
    • Using any Power Automate tool to code and resolving issues related to automation.
    • Reviewing the design and the code of automation.
    • Providing gained expertise during system development, process, and integration.
    • Configuring automation using Power Automate tools and providing post implementation support.
    • Documenting the entire process of automation.
    • Design, develop, and test automation workflows.
    • Support the launch and implementation of RPA solutions.
    • Create process and end-user documentation.
    • Assure the quality of the automation (QA processes).
    • Work with process owners, and other cross-functional resources to define and deliver business impacting projects.
    • Work directly with process owners to capture business requirements and translate them into technical approaches and designs that can be implemented.
    • Collaborate with departments and team members to ensure proper implementation and integration of the solutions.
    • Support deployments or troubleshoot production issues and participate in an on-call as-needed.
    • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in computer stuties or related field
    • 3+ Years relevant experience in RPA projects
    • Programming Language- C++, Python, Java, .NET etc.
    • Hands on experience on RPA tools and cognitive platform such as Power Automate highly preferred.
    • Basic programming knowledge on HTML, JavaScript (or any scripting language).
    • Able to design technical specification documents for RPA Projects
