    Network Systems Administrator

     

    The successful candidate will be responsible for effective implementation and monitoring of usage of ICT resources and its maintenance and ensuring smooth operations of all hardware and software resources.

    Network Systems Administrator Job Responsibilities

    • Ensure that all computers, servers and other IT resources and related peripheral equipment are kept in good working order through regular checks, timely servicing and preventive maintenance.

    • Arrange for repairs in consultation with the CFO/MFA. Liaise with the teaching staff in ensuring that IT resources are in working order at all times including public examination, etc. as per the academic requirements.

    • Monitor the usage of software across the Company system and take action where the use of unauthorized software is detected.

    • Ensure proper usage of computers in accordance with the organization’s ICT users’ policy.

    • Ensure virus protection is updated and current on all Company computers and the firewall is functioning as intended.

    • Establish a routine for essential backups and monitor that if is occurring safely and accurately.

    • Coordinate and control use of internet facilities, and allocation of bandwidth

    • Administer local area networking,

    • Carry out timely checks on all the computer labs in the schools.

    • Ensure that a backup of all software is stored and recorded in the Central Office.

    Qualifications for the Network Systems Administrator Job

    • Degree in computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Engineering or related studies

    • 3 Years’ experience as in Network and Systems Administration

    • Knowledge of the ERP System

    ICT Manager

     

    The successful candidate will be in charge of overall ICT Infrastructure, administration, maintenance, design, development and implementation in the region.

    Responsibilities for the ICT Manager Job

    • Assists in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting regional infrastructure.

    • Implements network security at the regional level.

    • Oversees the administration and maintenance of the company’s infrastructure, and directs more junior

    • Innovators when necessary.

    • Oversees the administration of the company’s WAN.

    • Oversees the design, development and implementation of ICT policies (Usage and Security) in the region.

    • Manages and develops upgrades to the company’s telephone system at the regional level.

    • Oversees all telephone changes, including, VOIP and routing for seating assignments.

    • Oversees the administration and maintenance of computer stations and software entities training programs and provides additional support, if necessary.

    • Oversees troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides expert support when necessary.

    • Interacts with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner.

    • Builds and maintains vendor relationships and manages the purchase of hardware and software products.

    • Manages the purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies at the regional level.

    • Ensures that company assets are maintained responsibly.

    • Prepare SLAs, RFQ and RFP based on organization requirements.

    • Maintain, support and train on the regional applications; Financial Information System (iScala), HR System (Aruti) and the Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications – Mail, Yammer, Skype, Intranet and office wide collaboration.

    • Maintain, support and train on the Financial & Non-Financial applications; Financial Information System (Tally), HR System, School Information System and the Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications – Mail, Microsoft Sharepoint, Skype, Intranet, Bio-Metrix System, Video Conferencing Setup and office wide collaboration.

    • Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.

    • Relays relevant IT-related information to the company in a timely manner.

    • Initiates and implements improvements in all areas of IT responsibility.

    • Serves as main point of contact on all IT-related matters for the office assigned.

    • Responds/acts on upper-management direction.

    • Identifies and provides standards for gathering information for use in trend analysis and reports information to company management.

    ICT Manager Job Requirements

    • Degree in computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Engineering or related studies

    • 5 Years’ experience as Head of ICT in a large Corporate/ Non profit organizatio

    • Knowledge of the ERP System; Financial & Non-Financial applications

    Tax Manager

     

    Job Summary

    Responsible for the overall management of Tax teams while ensuring that all work allocated is carried out profitably and on a timely basis in accordance with the firm’s professional standards and to the satisfaction of clients and engagement partner. Further, to ensure that people are managed and developed to the maximum of their potential and to assist in the development of the service line.

    Tax Manager Job Responsibilities

    • Manages time and profitability

    • Understands and leverages firm policies, procedures, methodologies, and tools to help with efficiency

    • Plans and manages assignments, coordinates work processes, analyzes work plans, and assists in the development of realistic budgets and client billings

    • Fosters and contributes to a knowledge-sharing culture to support daily business activities and interactions

    • Contributes to the firm’s financial performance by generating quality chargeable hours through work assigned by Director

    • Plays a role in generating profitability and performance, delivering quality work on time, within engagement budget, and proactively informing the manager when deviations occur

    • Participates in all required learning (i.e. on-the-job, internal/external courses) and obtaining relevant certification/s and/or licenses and experiences

    • Reviews VAT audit claims and files

    • Liaises with the KRA for audit assignments

    • Liaises with clients for Tax or technical queries

    • Agrees fees with clients for all assignments and engagement and ensures achievement of billing targets and collection of outstanding fees

    • Reviews and sort out statement of accounts

    • Understand and implement KRA Audit methodologies

    • Finalizes KRA Audit

    • Checks Tax returns

    • Reviews assignments and files to ensure quality is maintained

    • Trains, guides, influences, mentors and coach team members

    • Presents reports to clients and give clients queries and issues

    • Assist and perform any other duties and responsibilities bestowed upon by Managers/ Senior Manager

    KPI’s for the Tax Manager 

    • Quality deliverable through thorough reviews and quality checks

    • New customer acquisition

    • Continuous income generation to ensure attainment of service lines revenue targets.

    • High levels of client satisfaction and client retention

    • Timely debt collection and billing

    • Profitability of assignments

    • Developments of team members through coaching and continuous growth discussions.

    • Offering sound advice to the senior management

    • Team efficiency by effective time management and project timeline monitoring

    • Demonstration of technical know-how and capabilities in own area of work
