    Global Risk Leader, EasyBuy

    About the role:

    Greenlight is rapidly growing its Solar products business now available with easy financing options (also known as EasyBuy) through its own Direct Distribution Network as well as with the help of large distribution partners around the world, including leading MFIs, mobile network operators and commercial retail distributors. The Global Risk Leader will lead the optimization & rationalization of credit & portfolio risk that is inherent in the Direct Distribution business. He/she shall provide enhanced analytical insight into the credit risks, pro-actively implement & drive operational & sales force processes and work closely with the cross-functional teams of sales, operations, finance and technology in order to minimize credit risks & improve portfolio health.

    The ideal candidate will have experience working in a large, sophisticated credit granting or risk management function within a major consumer card, financial services, rural bank and/or micro-finance institution. This individual will bring a strong analytical orientation, an appreciation for broad-based credit risk issues, understanding of data mining techniques, and a familiarity with operations

    Key responsibilities for the role:

    • Developing analytically driven Credit & Portfolio Risk models. Exploring and implementing alternate modeling techniques to deliver more predictive models of collections, defaults.
    • Implementing innovative modeling techniques and data strategies to deliver best in class stress testing and/or credit scoring models
    • Structuring and driving operational credit risk management processes effectively (Such as underwriting, risk scoring, repossessions/voluntary buy back schemes etc.) in conjunction with sales force and operations to test and improve the quality of credit risk in the portfolio.
    • Performing all required tests and measures of developed models (e.g., sensitivity, accuracy, volatility), delivering comprehensive model documentation, validating and recalibrating models on periodic basis as in line with company’s policies & processes
    • Building robust / actionable Portfolio Quality monitoring & review mechanism. This will include regular presentations to Senior Management on Portfolio Quality movement with specific recommended action areas, obtaining sign-offs of relevant stake-holders and ensuring implementation of action items agreed during the Portfolio Reviews.
    • Preparation, launch and monitoring of Pilot Schemes for limited period/geography to drive improvements in collections and credit risk of the portfolio.
    • Carrying out tampering and fraud analytics with the help of Analytics Team and optimizing fraud detection & prevention frame-work.

    The ideal Global Risk Leader:

    • Holds a Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline: Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Operations Research or Statistics
    • Has 8+ years of work experience in relevant areas such as Underwriting, Portfolio & Credit Risk monitoring, Credit Analytics & Scoring; Credit card, Micro Finance Institution or Rural Loan industry experience especially in an analytics, policy or credit scoring role is preferred.
    • Has prior experience in developing loan level models is preferred using one or more industry recognized modelling constructs is preferred.

    Key responsibilities for the role include:

    • Trade Promotions

    The Role:

    This is a senior role which will design and drive sales and distribution strategies to support the unique combination of relevant channels in the East African market.

    The Role:

    The Retail Channel Manager provides leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to the organizations retail sales function. As the region''s senior-most retail sales leader, the channel manager is accountable for the overall retail channel sales performance, the profitable achievement of sales organization goals, and for aligning sales objectives with firm’s business strategy.

    Key responsibilities for the role include:

    • Actively seeking out and obtain new retail distribution partners through research of the market to Identify target customers, their current product offerings, establish clear priorities and recommend the strategy necessary to obtain their business.
    • Accountable for effective sales organization design, including sales job roles, sales channel design, and sales resource deployment.

    The After Sales Support Manager will Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth. He/She will take ownership of customer issues and follow problems through to resolution.     • Has a degree or Post Graduate qualification (MBA-preferably Operations/Finance(audit)/ actuarial science/Tax) from a Premier institution
    • Has 3-5 years in data analytics/business analysis for sales/supply planning / distribution requirement planning
    • Ability to work with distributors, sales teams and sales agents to ensure smooth distribution operations
    • Ability to collect sales data, use the data to forecast and plan for inventory
    • Knowledge and working experience with a robust ERP / WMS

    Customer Service Manager

    Reporting to: PayGO Go-To-Market Leader

    About the role:

    The Customer Service Manager will work closely with the Call Centre teams to ensure the performance KPIs are respected and to offer support in management and training to the Team Leader(s) and their agents at a regional scope.

    Key responsibilities for the role:

    • Daily monitoring of the call centre performance against set KPIs and SLAs
    • Creating and updating training for new recruits as well as existing agents
    • Creating and managing the call centre reward and recognition program
    • Closely monitoring the call centre and agents' performance and implementing improvement action as and when necessary.
    • Ensuring that all call centre tools and equipment are working well
    • Regularly performing quality call audits
    • Support and take ownership of the integration of the PBX data into our BI tool

    The Ideal Customer Service Manager:

    • Has a Diploma, Degree or Certificate in Supply Chain Management; Business Administration; Sales and Marketing; or Customer Service Management
    • Has 5 years relevant work experience in a similar role. Experience working with data analysis tools and different types of PBX  is a requirement.
    • Must work well under pressure, be able to juggle many tasks simultaneously, with an excellent sense of prioritization
