    Customer Sales Team Leader

    Your Role

    As Customer Sales Team Leader, you will drive KOKO’s business growth by leading a team of Customer Sales Representatives (CSRs) to sell KOKO Cookers in assigned territories. You will use your leadership skills and drive to create sales plans, coordinate field sales activities aimed at household and kibanda customers, and motivate your team of CSRs to achieve their sales targets.

    What You Will Do

    • Oversee field sales activities for your team, including initiation of contact with potential activation partners (eg, businesses, chamas), conducting of sales pitches, closing of orders, and collection of customer payments
    • Lead a team of CSRs to meet their sales targets by providing coaching, supervision, and accountability
    • Organize and implement product demonstrations and other promotional activities in liaison with KOKO's sales and marketing teams
    • Engage with customers and discover their wants and needs, both to pitch KOKO's solution and share back customer requirements for future sales and marketing efforts
    • Ensure sales records and reports are accurate and up-to-date for your entire team
    • Train and develop CSRs to use KOKO sales tools, including our Android application, videos, brochures, and other digital tools
    • Ensure CSRs communicate openly and honestly with KOKO customers throughout the sales process
    • Build, manage, and maintain strong, positive customer relationships
    • Escalate customer queries, issues, and other feedback to senior management, as appropriate

    What You Will Bring to KOKO

    • University degree or equivalent
    • 2+ years of sales management experience, preferably with consumer goods or durables
    • Experience leading sales promotions/campaigns with a track record of success
    • Passion for selling consumer products that improve lives
    • Strong coaching, mentoring, and motivation skills
    • High degree of self-motivation & keen attention to detail
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Outstanding organizational and time management skills

    Agent Relationship Representative

    Your Role

    As Agent Relationship Representative (ASR), you will help KOKO maintain a robust retail network by recruiting, on-boarding, and ensuring agent success. Your key responsibilities will include business development, relationship management, market intelligence, and KOKO Cooker sales in an assigned territory. You will need to achieve set targets related to both building and maintaining satisfaction of our Agent network.

    What You Will Do

    • Recruit KOKO Agents based on set selection criteria in your assigned territory
    • Drive the growth of KOKO products and services via existing Agent network
    • Conduct scheduled and ad hoc Agent training in KOKO hardware and software functionality and product benefits
    • Ensure Agent compliance with KOKO processes and procedures
    • Facilitate Agent installation, contracting, merchandising, renewal, and de-commissioning
    • Identify risks in assigned territory and proactively manage and report incidents and business concerns
    • Generate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports
    • Execute KOKO Fuel and KOKO Cooker sales programs
    • Address agent questions and concerns to ensure satisfactory issue resolution
    • Give voice to KOKO agents by understanding and reporting recurring questions and issues
    • Communicate openly and honestly with KOKO agents
    • Build, manage, and maintain strong, positive agent relationships

    What You Will Bring to KOKO

    • Degree from an accredited University, preferably in a business-related area of study
    • 1+ years of work experience, preferably in a relationship management or other customer-facing role
    • Excellent interpersonal and sales skills
    • Excellent planning and organization skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision
    • Empathetic customer orientation and ability to adapt and respond to challenging situations
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Proficiency with Gmail and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

    Telesales Representative

    Your Role

    As Telesales Representative, you will drive KOKO’s business growth by selling KOKO Cookers and leading other sales activities from our KOKO Call Centre. You will reach out to leads to understand their cooking needs, pitch them on KOKO's superior solution, and close sales.

    What You Will Do

    • Qualify leads from cold calling, social media, and other sources
    • Manage, track, and follow up on leads
    • Conduct phone-based sales presentations to identify customer problems with existing cooking hardware and explain KOKO's solution
    • Understand KOKO products and provide detailed explanations about hardware and service offerings to customers
    • Set daily sales plans to enable achievement of monthly sales targets
    • Create and update activity reports
    • Maintain customer records across KOKO's software platforms
    • Communicate openly and honestly with KOKO customers
    • Build, manage, and maintain strong, positive customer relationships
    • Escalate customer queries and issues to management, as appropriate

    • Proficiency with Gmail and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
    • Familiarity with customer management systems (CRM, ZenDesk, QueueMetrics) preferred

    Customer Support Representative

     

    Your Role

    As Customer Support Representative, you will play a front-line role in resolving customer issues and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work as a member of our Customer Support in our KOKO Call Centre to answer questions about KOKO, address complaints, and drive customer retention.

    What You Will Do

    • Answer inbound phone calls from current and prospective KOKO customers and agents
    • Place outbound phone calls to current customers to solicit feedback and drive KOKO Fuel consumption
