    Commercial Sales Manager

    Duties        

    • Provide strong leadership to the sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Recruit, train and mentor sales consultants to enhance their skills and capabilities.
    • Set clear performance targets and provide regular feedback to ensure individual and team success.
    • Distribute enquiries to the team, support consultants with quoting, itinerary design and questions, and ensure out of hours / off duty team availability
    • Responsible for assigning new agents to consultants.
    • Manage and drive sales performance with specific focus on sales targets and conversion, turnaround time and overall customer experience.
    • Assist with the maintenance of agent relationships
    • In partnership with other unit Sales Managers, conduct and manage regular sales meetings.
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and market expansion.
    • Identify key market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with overall brand positioning.

    • Monitor and analyse revenue performance, identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 15 years experience in the broader industry sector (hospitality & tourism).
    • Proven track record of success in sales management, particularly in the tourism or hospitality industry.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
    • Excellent communication skills and a responsible go-to person.
    • Proactive mindset, and the ability to organize, motivate and encourage a team.
    • Ability and willingness to lead by example and find commercial solutions to problems.

    Finance & Operations Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitoring and execution of audits, budgeting, and financial reporting
    • Monitoring all updated files and records
    • Monitoring and processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
    • Ensuring adequate handling of any tax responsibilities of the company
    • Handling of invoices / credit notes and bills and send them to customers through various channels (mail, e-mail etc.) and sending bill reminders/contacting clients for open invoices
    • Verifying that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier’s ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
    • Monitoring of all compliance matters and responsibilities

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
    • Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Experience with ERP-Systems (Microsoft Navision Dynamics)
    • A good team player and coordinate tasks within the team.
    • Ability to meet timelines and monthly targets on financial reporting.

    Safari Guide Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensures the highest quality of game experience for the guests.
    • Hosts guests in line with the camps Standard of Excellence.
    • Always shows an exceptional appreciation and sensitivity to the environment.
    • Ensures that guest and staff safety is always a priority.
    • Communicates with Front of House staff to ensure the best possible experience for guests.

    Qualifications/skills:

    • 10+ years’ experience in the hospitality industry with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar position in safari destination facility or sustainable tourism sector.
    • Valid First Aid Certificate, defensive driver certificate
    • Gold or Silver Certification and registered with KPSGA and any other relevant global professional bodies.
    • Good knowledge in management information systems, good IT skills, and any front of house software including superior command of Ms Excel and Ms Word Outlook
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
    • Effective communication skills Fluent English and any other foreign language
    • Result oriented, able to plan, drive and execute strategic initiatives from start to finish.
    • Leadership ability, particularly as regards assisting tour guide team to operate to maximum effectiveness.
    • Capacity to train and develop the safari guide team, developmental approach to the team.
    • An inherent passion for observing, sharing and learning about wildlife.

    Assistant Manager

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Being the contact point for the guests during their stay at Arijiju and communicating logisitics/plans with the rest of the team.
    • Taking all plans and wake up calls for the guests and communicating this with the team. Co-ordinating logistics between activities and guest movements with the rest of the team.
    • End of month stock take and inventory management as well as compiling and sending weekly shopping orders.
    • Ensure front of house teams all work together and in sync to provide the best possible service to guests.

    Requirements

    • At least 5 years of experience in a 5 star lodge in a similar role
    • Excellent communication skills in English both orally and in writing
    • Team Player – must be willing to teach and help in all departments.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and in high stress environments
    • Proven experience of hosting Hosting Skills guests from all over the world.
    • Being able to deal with high profile clients and their needs.
    • General Computer skills are needed and being able to work on Excel and word are a must.

    Front Office Associates (Spa) - 3 Posts

    Key Responsibilities

    • Capture all client details on the phone such as phone number and full names on booking the client. Ensure that all clients fill in an indemnity form before being attended to by therapists.
      Organize and book all client appointments using the booking software.
    • Ensure all bookings are done accurately with no double-booking cases.
    • Ensure service billing is done and clients pay either before or after treatments without exception.
    • Issue branded receipts to clients and ensure that clients must leave with their receipts.
    • Handle all incoming calls and in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Coordinate and communicate all bookings and cancellations in good time to the therapists to allow timely service preparations.
    • Communicate weekly offers and new products/services to clients.
    • Ensure all licenses are current and always maintain a clean and organized front desk.
    • Communicate to all clients any promotions, product/treatment launches, discounts, or service changes. Inform management or the branch manager of any peculiar client/local authority visitations in good time.
    • Manage product sales and update stock appropriately on the company’s integrated booking system.
    • Update daily sales reports, including coffee shop sales, in Excel or as may be required to facilitate accountability to management.
    • Receive and document payments accurately through the software and updating the daily report with modes of transaction used (cash, M-pesa, credit card).

    Qualifications

    • Relevant bachelor’s degree or diploma in front office hospitality.
    • Must have 4 years’ experience as a front office executive in a busy set up.
    • Must be proficient in MS Office, be honest, trustworthy and have experience handling multicultural clientele.
    • Must have excellent work ethics, professionalism, phone etiquette and communication skills.
    • Must be presentable, neat have a high level of organization, multitasking and timeliness.
    • Must have experience working in a busy and fast-paced environment.
