    Lead Sales Trainer

    Our Client whose mission is to make smallholder farming households more productive and has developed a solution that combines affordable solar water pumping and customized irrigation systems, bundled with ongoing support and financing and is seeking to fill the position of a Lead Sales Trainer. We are therefore searching for a seasoned and experienced leader to join the Institution.

    Role purpose

    • This position is responsible for providing training, empowerment, support, and guidance to the Sales team. In this role, you will be required to deliver training in-person and virtually with focus around sales techniques and closing skills.
    • You will also work to develop, coordinate and/or facilitate training sessions with various subject matter experts to provide timely and relevant training sessions to the field team.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with sales teams to discover training gaps, then create a training program and develop training materials to close sales
    • Conduct training to develop sales team
    • On the field coaching of the sales personnel to tackle and understand on the field challenges.
    • Identify any gaps and areas of improvement
    • Procurement and maintenance training materials
    • Ensure training material for eLearning is largely products, services and concepts based while in-person training is team based to make the sessions interactive.
    • Knowledge building: keep up to date with product and process changes, competitive positioning and market presence
    • Knowledge and skill enhancement of the sales team
    • Conduct Job Knowledge Quiz’s.
    • System and Process improvement such as Post Training reports, impact stories and attendance sheets
    • Continuous communication between leadership and teams

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in relevant field of study
    • 4 years of experience in training, with past experience in sales
    • Working experience in a start-up
    • Experience in leading a team
    • Solar experience is preferred

    Senior Associate

    Our Client A reputable mid-sized, and ambitious law firm with a wide array of experience in providing personalized and attentive service to each client at every stage in the legal process from inception to the final resolution. and is seeking to fill the position of a Senior associate. We are therefore searching for a seasoned and experienced leader to join the Institution.

    Role purpose

    The senior associate/counsel have capabilty of drafting and negotiating transactions in the following areas: energy & natural Resources, corporate & commercial, real estate, banking & finance, litigation & dispute and intellectual property.

    Responsibilities

    • To provide a high-quality legal service to the firm’s clients.
    • Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
    • Advise clients on business and legal transactions
    • Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
    • Comply with all legal standards and regulations
    • Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
    • To comply with all relevant professional and regulatory obligations.
    • To contribute to the growth and development of the department and firm.
    • To supervise and mentor other members of staff as required.

    Qualifications

    • At least Five (5) years Transactional Experience in a medium to large law firm or in-house department in the firm’s practice areas.
    • Admitted to the Bar as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya
    • Kenya School of Law – Diploma in Law
    • Undergraduate Law degree (LLB) or Graduate Law Degree with upper second-class honors
    • Able to conduct own workload with minimal supervision, under supervision and while supervising or mentoring others
    • Knowledge and understanding of the LSK Code of Conduct and other relevant regulatory requirements.
    • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
