Responsible for:
Providing support to the Manager in relation to management of complaints and corruption reports in accordance with best practice, policy and law.
Tasks and Outputs:
- Coordinate resolution of complaints and corruption reports within the stipulated timelines.
- Ensure consistent standards and compliance with set regulations and uniformity in service delivery within the Complaints and Information Centre (CIC).
- Coordinate the implementation of quarterly work plans for the period.
- Monitor, track and report all cases that come through CIC communication channels.
- Documentation and daily update of complaints and corruption reports and tracking action taken to resolve the same.
- Proactively obtain feedback from customers through various sources.
- Prepare monthly reports on performance of CIC.

Manager, System Review
Job Purpose
- To oversee and promote Ethics Policy Analysis and System Review in the Authority
Principal Duties
- Review and domesticate Anti-Corruption Legal Framework in the Authority
- Develop and analyse the impact of Anti-corruption policies and strategies in KRA
- Coordinate system reviews on policies, procedures and practices
- Monitoring and evaluation of systems review operations
- Benchmarking and partnership on systems review practices
- Management of staff, resources and work performance to achieve the set goals & objectives
- Any other duty assigned by the supervisor
Skills and Competencies
Skills required:
- Master’s degree in Public Policy/Tax Policy/ Economics/ Law/ any other related degree from a recognized university
- Trained on Integrity Assurance Officers course
- Knowledgeable of Ethics and Integrity matters
- Be conversant with the current tax and anti-corruption practices/policies
- At least three (3) years’ experience at senior management level, of which 4 years should be on integrity programme and at least 5 years at Senior level position

Reports to: Chief Manager, Intelligence Collection
Direct reports:
Assistant Managers – Team 1 & Team 2
Responsible for:
- Manage human surveillance operations and presentation of intelligence summaries
Tasks and outputs:
- Planning, organizing and coordinating human surveillance operations.
- Reviewing quality of the intelligence products and disseminate appropriately.
- Assessing needs for development to enhance human surveillance capacities.
- Managing securing of information obtained to protect confidentiality and integrity of operations.
- Evaluating staff performance through the review of completed assignments and initiatives and develop staff skills.
Skills required:
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related fields.
- 5 years of progressive work experience with at least 2 years of intelligence management in a senior position in reputable organization.
- Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- Post Graduate degree in Tax & Customs Administration is an added advantage.

- Managing Intelligence collection operations and presentation of intelligence summaries
Tasks and outputs:
- Planning, organizing and coordinating Intelligence Gathering operations.
- Preparing and presenting management reports.
- Assessing Intelligence needs for development to enhance gathering capacities.
- Securing information obtained to protect confidentiality and integrity of operations.
- Evaluating staff performance through the review of completed assignments and initiatives and developing staff skills.
- Reviewing quality of the intelligence reports and disseminate appropriately to the relevant departments and divisions.
Skills required:
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Law, Public Administration, Management, International Relations, Economics, Finance or related disciplines.
- 5 years of progressive work experience with at least 2 year of intelligence management and at least two (2) at first level Management
- Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- Post Graduate degree in Tax & Customs Administration is an added advantage.
